We are organizing a course on building compost toilets in May of this year (2026). The course covers timber construction techniques followed by a one-day workshop on the key aspects of managing and setting up compost toilets, tailored to various situations and some other talks/walks.

The details for the course and workshop are:

Timber construction techniques - Wednesday- May 13 to Friday - May 15. There are 5 places available for £150 for the 3 days.

Compost toilet workshop - Saturday, May 16. There are 12 places available for £30 (including tea and coffee!).

This day includes a short tour of the croft. A compost toilet presentation by Tommy McManmon (www.tommystoilets.co.uk). A gut health talk by Hannah Taylor (www.gut-feelings.co.uk). And a foraging walk & talk with Donnah Murray (www.rootsandcadence.com).
